The first skill of life and business is to create value for yourself and others

So how do you create value?

Step 1 is to identify to whom you want to create value, to which persons, invididuals. This will assist you in engaging your emotions, rather than just saving the world or making money from some corporation, identify the real persons.

Step 2 is to get inseminated by others with their ideas in conversations, audio, books, art, nature, you name it.

Step 3 is to observe yourself, others and circumstances.

Want to feel rich instantly? Think of the peaks of the past!

Think about all the situations where someone or something created massive value for you – and even better where you created massive value for each other.

Those moments are the very peak of life. And those are moments are you want to remember.

Those are the momenters which will make you feel rich instantly!

Those are the moments that will make you feel greatful.

These peaks of the past are also what you can replicate for future value creation, for  peaks of the future.

Let us make it more concrete.

Say, you are to meet with an old friend that you haven’t see for a while.

How would you go about making sure that you have a good time, that you will satisfy each others needs, that you will have a peak experience?

Thinking about a past peak will be helpful in two ways. It will most likely remind you of how, and by that I mean by which manner, viehcle and stategy, you have previously been able to satisfy each others needs. And at the same time it will put you in a great state where you are more likely to satisfy each others needs, and create a new peak of life.

Hope this will help you. Enjoy!

Did the winning performance in the Eurovision create value? Of course! But how?

Surely, the pink colours, the look of Netta and the dancers provided variety and fun. Yet, this alone would not have secured the victory in a show generally known for this triat exactly.

More basically, but at least as important, the power and energy of Netta made us feel confident and comfortable around the performance. She can sing.

What about significance? Did you feel more significant looking at Netta? In terms of personal connection, Netta and the performance did not offer much – for example, Netta’s eyes were constantly rolling in a new direction effectively prohibiting any feeling of personal connection with her.

So what drove it home? The text, the message, the sense of joining this willful performance in a rebellion aginst the stupid boy!!! If you woted for Netta, I bet you felt the text did tell a story, you learned or were reminded of something you agreed with, and you may even have felt that you contributed to a positive Me Too like message or movement.

Do you agree?
